Puppies are washed and dried and warming up by the heater. Plans are to visit DH childhood friend at Lake George, NY 2 days. Only days possible because of too many Drs appointments. That is if he doesn't back out. He is still babying the radiation burn on his seat and it's a long drive. I didn't feel like going on vacation but think it would be good to satisfy his wishes. Plans are to go early tomorrow morning so I'm getting ready today. We have a mattress in the back of the van

I threw some scratch out for the chix, called everybody, took a pjcture snd counted bibis. I see 20 for sure. There may be 21, one might be behind another. I'll go out now (normsl time) and throw them some worms and count again. This bodes well!

Peaches on yellow cake is one of my favorite deserts even though I haven't made it in years. I like to make pound cake and put fruit on it, peaches, strawberries, blueberries are all good.
