Peach! (Shhh, don't tell Granny!)

I was a little disappointed in these, tbh! For several weeks we've been getting these big, softball-size "Moonlight" ones sand they've always been freestone, where the flesh just falls off the pit. Well, when I blanched these today and skinned them, and cut them in half expecting them to just fall off the pit like they always do - surprise! They're clings, not freestone! I looked on the little stickers and every one says it's a Moonlight, so go figure. They all got pulverized anyway but it made the job a lot messier.

Oh wow that sucks! I’m sorry! I love peach anything though lol

It's jelly! No wait ... it's actually jam, because I didn't strain out juice, there's real fruit in there. But I pulverized it with my hand blender thingy. And it's yummy! I'm sitting here exhausted, listening to the lids pop. One at a time. That's Satisfaction!

Hi all, I over did it today. I took Tom by myself to the Dr. I had to load and unload his wheelchair, take him in and out of the van and push him up a little hill. It was real fun going downhill. I almost lost him. Anyway we are home. Probably take a little nap.

Her hubby's folks live there. He visits every year leaving Cap at home to tend to her animals but she didn't have any this time so she went with him.
