Granny's gone and done it again

I like fall but spring better LOL I like the IDEA of fall… cold weather. Pumpkins. Apples. Seasonal teas. Etc. BUT! I’m pretty positive I have some sort of seasonal depression or seasonal affective disorder (SAD) or something cause I always get way worse in the fall lol so that part sucks. So IDK. If I could have the rest without that part, that’d be great. 🤣😭🙈😬🙃
I've noticed since my husband passed that when the holidays start getting closer I'm a bit down. Sure helps to have kids here.
Go bring in some pretty leaves. Make an arrangement. Share photos. :) Even if you just pick up one that's turned, take a picture and show us.

Helped deliver 12+ pound babies on occasion. I don't know what 'record' they are referring to but I can remember seeing one that was 14 pounds at birth. No newborn clothes fit him. Had to go down to pediatrics and get large size diapers for him. They look like little football players and eat like them also. No 'just formula' for them. They get baby rice and formula from day one.

No snow on those mountaintops @Cynthia12...yet. I have one more outside job to get done before winter hits. Our big deck needs red wood stained. Got the stain on Wednesday. Now need a few sunny days to get the wood dry from the recent showers so I can get it scraped and done. Doesn't take long. Just need the weather to cooperate.

Have you ever tried light therapy?

Something you might want to check into.
I have not although I think I have heard of it once or twice before and meant to look into it and never did lol I will now. Thank you!!!!!

Thanks! It’s dark out but I could try to find one anyways lol

you know me, same ol things, different day.

What do you do w/ dried celery?
I use dried celery, onion and garlic in place of fresh when I don't have fresh. If I'm making sauce or soup or a casserole I just add it to the other ingredients.
MC I know it is fall here in south Alabama because the goldenrod is blooming not because the temperature is lower. The high today was 93! I won't put the summer clothes away until late October. We will start planting the garden in March next year.
