Three dogs walked by and I stopped and sat him down because I knew he could trip me or cause their dogs to freak and trip them. So we stopped. But at first we were walking towards them. He is crying and crying. Then I get him to sit but when they got closer and passed he is up and lunging, crying, barking. He never usually barks but has started occasionally doing it at certain dogs. But I managed to get him to sit briefly in between all this but he would get up again. And they were like “he’s a lot” and I was like “yeah” and then one of their dogs was lunging too. Brewster only wants to play but it is still completely UNACCEPTABLE. Also this bark was slightly different than his high pitched excited bark so he might’ve been trying to protect me from THREE STRANGE DOGS too. IDK. But he did his high pitched one too mixed in and wasn’t growling or anything so I really don’t think it was that but who knows. But at least we didn’t try to keep walking and have him trip me up. oh and usually he always has his e collar on lately but I thought “well, I haven’t been using it lately anyways even when it’s on and last time it didnt even work so I dont need it.” Yeah… well… he should’ve had it on. And I think it would’ve worked this time. Oh well. At the beginning of the walk he saw a squirrel and was pulling hard. THEN! He saw another squirrel almost home and was literally choking himself WALKING ON HIS HIND LEGS to get to it. that one was my fault because I saw it way up the street before him and told him squirrel over and over so he was looking for it and already WAY hyped when he saw it LOL but still.

I know. And that’s not even the worst he’s been and he was in a martingale but had a flat collar on too but the leash was attached to the martingale. Usually I put his e collar on him and he’s better behaved but I thought I didn’t need it this time.

The ones sold as Cinnamon Queens got fowl pox like the adult Legbars did after a wave of mosquitos hit us like a plague. The should all be fine in a few weeks one or two may lose sight in one eye. ISA Browns don't seem to be bothered and they are all in the same coup when they became infected. The worst infections are with the oldest original coup of Crested Legbar hens. We did lose two 5 month old pullets that got it in both eyes and were totally blind before we caught it in them.

Shrek, I had one that ONLY walked on her back legs choking herself the whole way. I tried a lot of things. I knew she wasn't getting enough exercise even though I walked her every day. I started w/ a back pack. I added canned food for weight then I took her on bike rides but that wasn't really safe and I ended with this. the one around the muzzle would tighten if she pulled and a dog goes where the nose leads them
