Granny's gone and done it again

Someone come push my nasty butt in the shower please.. Here I sit. I called Nancy and was telling her about her work and then myself and I started crying. I do have the sunshine depression thing but if this is that its the worst one yet.

Howdy all, Not feeling the best today but that's nothing new. I have no energy at all. I still haven't showered for Dr appt. tomorrow. Its butt crack early too. Poor Nancy has to get up even earlier because she has a good 45 -one hr. ride from her house to here.
@Cynthia12 Im sorry to hear about Richard. I hope things go well for him. Tom had a stone that he couldn't pass and they did lithotripsy (spelling) on him. I surely doubt it was as big as your sons but then that was the standard care for it. He ended back in the ER because he couldn't pass the pieces and blood clots while his Dr. and surgeon were on the same plane heading to Fl. for vacation.
Tom is sleeping all day again. He is very weak as well. He asks for my hand to even sit up straight in his chair. He needs appt. too but he is refusing and because Dr. isn't in Fridays it wont help til next week anyways.
Anyway, I hope everyone is having a beautiful day. :love
Praying for you and your Tom. It's hard on you watching him on his hard days. Stress does a lot to us. :hugs ❤️

:hugs You have more reason than most to cry, Granny. And it's not just ... not enough sunshine, though it probably wouldn't hurt if you sat on your front porch for an hour a day. Are you taking a Vit D supplement?

@Cynthia12, condolences to your son on the delivery or hopeful delivery of the problematic stone. Keeping him in my prayers. I remember years back my dad was in the hospital and his roommate was there for a kidney stone. His wife was telling me the story of the night the pain hit him. They didn't know what was wrong, he was in so much pain he was screaming. She got him into the car and headed towards town and the hospital going like a bat out of hades. They lived out of town, and hit the city limits going way above the speed limit. Didn't take long for a cop to come after them. She hadn't slowed down. Was blaring her horn like a mad woman, her husband was screaming in pain, she roared into the ER parking lot with the cop hot on her tail. She screeched her brakes at the ER door and jumped out to find the cop behind her with his gun drawn not knowing what was going on. She hastily yelled, HUSBAND IS DYING and the way he was still screaming the cop believed her. He ran in for her, got ER personnel moving and told her not to do that again. Call for help before setting out. She had a good laugh about it and the way she told the story we were all laughing. Even her husband.

Kidney stones, bladder stones, Gall bladder stones all hurt as bad as having a baby. It all boils down to trying to get a big old stone that feels like it's as big as a marble sucked through a soda straw.

I had PT today. Always a joy...grumble. Therapist tells me I'm doing great even if I don't tolerate weight lifting. How many people 5 months post shoulder rebuilding load 40lb bags of feed, split wood and use a chain saw? Shoan (pronounced Shawn...don't ask me I didn't name him) Said I was regaining strength rapidly even without the weight lifting so hey, he ain't complaining. Any hoo. Sore, tired and my hay fever is making me wish we lived in Arizona right now. Danged golden rod.

I went out when I got back this morning to check on my little bantam hen Peanut who has lost the use of her legs and now her wings aren't acting normal. God, guys, talk about having your heart broken by these little birds. I always enter the feed room saying Hi Peanut! and give the tuk tuk tuk sound that roosters and hens make when they are calling hens or chicks to them. She usually just trills and makes some soft clucking sounds back at me but today she answered with the same, but frantic, tuk tuk tuk tuk tuk at me. I hurried in and she had somehow gotten herself on her back and couldn't get upright. She was yelling HURRY UP AND HELP ME! at me. I got her sunny side up and made her comfortable. Hand fed her some scrambled egg and bread. Guess I'm going to make her a chicken sling and try to get her out in the coop with my other disabled birds. Told my husband that now he knew why I said that I couldn't put this one down. She's more than a chicken. She's a pet.

Granny. Darling lady, I wish I could help you. Seriously. I'd get you in the shower no matter how gamey you think you are. Trust me, I've probably smelled worse. We'd get you cleaned up and then we would sit down with ice cream and coffee or tea and have a good cry together. Then we would find something to laugh about. Just know that we love you and let that love lift up your spirits. As far as Tom is concerned, if you have to, call 911 and have him taken to the ER. If he is acting as bad as you say he is, it's where he should be.

Sorry for the long post guys. I'll try to do better next time, brahahahahahahah
