Thanks @Rambling Iris. I'm not sure what happened to Peanut. I suspected an injury at first but the fact that it was progressing I started to suspect it was connected to Marek's. I tried the sling but she kept flipping herself out of it. That progressed to her flipping herself on her back and not being able to right herself. I was waiting for any sign of improvement in her but finally had to face that she was declining, losing weight, and I wasn't being fair to her. I watched too many die from Marek's and couldn't do that to her. She was too sweet. I have her clone yet and she is natured exactly like Peanut. I called them both Peanut or PJ because I couldn't tell them apart. Yesterday she flew up and set on my arm when I was taking care of Peanut #1....or 2? So I still have her to spoil.

Sorry about your Sophie. They do have a way of leaving impressions on your heart.

I put her down. Cried my way through it. I have to remind myself that we are their guardians here on earth and it is our duty to release them when there is no cure nor quality of life.

Iris, Tom is better today. Had to be his sugar. I got a ton of water down him and some exercises. IDK what his sugar is now but earlier it was 350
So you got a clean bill of health? Im glad.

Doc said keep doing what I'm doing. He liked the weight loss and that I'm able to get out and do chicken chores. I'm glad Tom's better today. How often do you check his sugar? Might be a good idea to keep a close eye on it. How are you today?

Not very often. I brought the high sugars to his Drs. attention and she brushed me off saying he is fine, don't worry about that. So I figured it didn't much matter if I checked it or not til I thought about his symptoms and checked it to find it high so now Im doing once a day.
I'm ok I guess. If I complain about this pain to the Dr. I'm going in for surgery so Im gonna be ok as long as I can. Lolol
