Granny's gone and done it again

Thursday morning I spotted this sun dog, except it wasn’t beside the sun, but rather straight across from it.

Here is Google's Ai definition:

sun dog is an atmospheric optical phenomenon that creates bright spots of light on either side of the Sun, appearing as "mock suns" or "phantom suns". Also known as parhelia, they form when sunlight refracts through hexagonal ice crystals in the atmosphere, causing the light to bend and concentrate into visible patches. These spots typically appear about 22 degrees from the Sun, at the same altitude, and can have faint, rainbow-like colors with red on the side nearest the Sun.
