Granny's gone and done it again

Just keep telling yourself, Granny. No good deed goes unpunished. Sounds rough but experience tells me it's true 90% of the time. So whenever we do a good deed I tell DH, brace yourself.

Well it's October so the annual invasion of the Japanese Beetle/Lady Buts has begun and yes, we have both of the lovely little rat you know whats invading the house. Told DH it was time to bring the shop vac into the living room and park it as I'd be sucking them off the ceiling by tomorrow. Funny thing is we can't figure out how they get in. Guess where there is a will to live rent free over the winter in a warm house, there is a way.
same here. I hate them things. I don't understand "no good deed goes unpunished"?

A woman’s closet door made a terrible noise every time a bus passed outside.

🚪

So she called a carpenter to check it out.
🔨

He couldn’t see a problem — until a bus passed and the door made a loud creaking sound.
So he told her he’d wait inside the closet to figure it out.
😅

A few minutes later, her husband comes home, opens the closet, and sees a man standing inside.
😳

He looks at his wife, then the man, and says,
“What the hell are you doing in my closet?”
The carpenter replies…
“Would you believe me if I told you I’m waiting for the bus?”
😂

If she believes in reincarnation so if the person who died was a horses butt in this life does he reincarnate as a horse in the next life? just wondering.
lol I will certainly ask! Poor Nancy, she has a few beliefs that you would find strange I guess but if you knew her background you would understand and love her as I do. I of course wont tell it because I assume it was told to me in confidence.

Thanks, Twist. I changed my 🤣 to a ❤️.

Well not sure what is going around BUT I got it. Hopefully I am "fully function" by court on Weds. Off for another chair nap. TTFN
Oh so it's YOUR fault I've felt like doo-doo all day! I'll get you for this, my pretty, and your little dog, too!

I suspect they don't get in, but hatch from last year. I don't know and can't provd it though.

Here's an example. A relative's elderly relative had to move ftom her home into a nursing home due to heart issues. We agreed to take in her elderly, matted, outdoor-only Great Pyrenees. Good deed, right? Dog was a sweetie and we loved her. Only one problem which we did not realize right away. She was infested with fleas and as a result all our dogs got fleas and so did our house! :sick:th So you see, our good deed was ... punished.
