Sorry for the absence. Just tired and trying to get things caught up before the inevitable winter cold settles in. Thought you all would enjoy seeing our little mass murderer, Varn in his Halloween costume. I wish we could get him to leave the wig on but he seems to like the little suit so we ran with that. We call him Chunky Chucky.

Got my tulip bulbs planted. Whew. Getting down to 31 tonight. The groundwater perfect fir planting today.

If you can plant your not so old. Its just a # your body isn't listening to. I am beyond all that stuff so my body is older than yours. Just gotta get my mind to catch up! hahaa

I just finished digging out my standard canna bulbs. Ick what a job. For some reason they went really deep this year even though they were planted in a 'damp' area near the house. My arm is a'achin but at least those done. Tomorrow I can dig up the dwarf cannas and get them inside to cure. They are calling for temps in the mid 30s here over night tomorrow night through Thursday. Keep thinking, gee, not yet then look at the calendar and go, yeah, yet. Not ready for winter.
