Granny's gone and done it again

Supper is lamb chops and sourdough rye bread. One piece is spread with my homemade plum butter and fried in the leftover grease from frying the lamb chops, the other has two pieces of cheese on it, fried the same way and topped with plum butter.
I love my adventurous spirit!
I’ve never tried using a fruit butter and frying it in the leftover grease in the frying pan.
Lemme tell you those sandwiches were delicious! I wasn’t too sure of the combination myself, but I need not have been consterned, it is worth repeating.
Oh and the grease had whatever combined seasoning flavors in it from two previous times of being used.View attachment 4236587View attachment 4236588
Have you ever thought of making a cook book? You have an unusual diet. Its not like anyone else I have known and it all looks really good! You fried the bread WITH the plum butter on it? What kept it from coming off? And the teas you drink are the same. I have seen peeps smoke mullion to help BP before but not in a tea for the lungs.

thanks! BTW, my chickens loved Polk leaves.. Its the roots that hold the most poison. I would strip the berry's off just to be on the safe side then throw the whole stem in. I have ate both the leaves and stems.
I should of said Polk has a special way to be cooked to make it safe

I have thought of making a cookbook. The problem with that is that I hardly ever keep track of how I make my meals.
The bread was only fried on one side and yes, the plum butter was on it while it was being fried.

never too late. Start writing it down as you make it or as soon as you finish eating while its still fresh in your mind

St. Mary’s lake also doubles as a reservoir.

Good Morning Granny Land. It's a sunny 49° and I've got the front door open letting this cool air flood the house so no AC will be needed this afternoon when it warms up to 85° for a couple of hours.

Hope y'all rested well and maybe for some feeling better ❤️
Definitely a cool morning at least here 💗
Just want to wish y'all a good day 💕
