Granny's gone and done it again

well whatever it is I hope it doesn't spread.
So Robert just found a pretty big raw spot on Fawns tail. Wasn't there just a little bit ago. She was licking it so what could we use on it? @BigBlueHen53 or anyone that might know? H20 isn't on right now.
I use vetericyn but you prob don’t have that. You could put ointment but she needs to quit licking it

Don't worry, it was probably just an opossum, not a mouse. :lau

I rather see a possum.

My dog licks his paws. He used to do it once in a while. Now I have to stop him more often. There a re a few reasons why dogs do this. Stress, a sore spot, or like a hot spot or they have something going on like was mentioned. Some even suggest it could be from having a bad gut. Feed them pro biotics they say.
When my Bella started licking I thought, no, not you too. Well, she was in pain and I had no idea what kind of pain. She was gone a month later after her licking and grabbing her back leg at times. They don't show pain as we all know with whining or crying unless it's a sudden pain. Cooper had me worried. But now after watching him, thinking back when it started, I am pretty sure it's stress. From? That dog on dog behind us. He goes out to potty, in the day the first thing he does is go to the fence to see if she is out. Night time he doesn't. He knows she isn't there. I am glad I got the chain link fence up. He still goes straight over, but they can't be nose to nose at the vinyl fence. Poor guy. Guess he thinks he's watching over us. Or he just doesn't like her. 🤔
