Granny's gone and done it again

Bacon grease is all my GM ever used and she never had high cholesterol. One of the lucky ones I guess
Bacon grease doesn’t cause your cholesterol to be high.
Carbs and sugar cause high cholesterol in most people there is one high cholesterol disease as that is genetic.

Familial hypercholesterolemia

My arm where I got that flu shot hurts and there is a hard knot there. Is that normal? Also I looked on my chart today and surprise!, I have yet another UTI.
Probably they never warmed up the fluid before they stuck it in your arm. Causes the muscle to contract when the cold stuff hits it. And it hurts for a while.

Good morning Granny Land! It's a beautiful day in the neighborhood! sunshine, high in the mid-60's today. Pa's feeling better and is doing some light duty chores outside. I'm headed to the kitchen to deal with the last of the peppers I harvested yesterday. I thought the plants were dead because of the drought but they came back after the rain and produced an abundant fall crop. Hope everyone is feeling as good as possible and has a great day. Catch you later today.

Supper this evening.
Brown rice in water, along with two small plums, about half a medium apple and boiled.
Elk loin fried rare, chopped into half inch chunks, added to the rice along with half a stick of butter and the juice the steaks were fried in.
Everything was cooked together for ten minutes to slightly infuse all the flavors.
Seasoning is salt and pepper to taste.
Sides of pickled asparagus, cottage cheese with a pool of maple syrup and pumpkin bread with fresh apple butter.
The sandwich is pumpkin bread with Amish style ham salad and colby cheese. I tried the combination on a whim and it is surprisingly good.
Drink is clove tea.
