He isn't in pain except for the bones in his neck. His Dr. gave him new PPs and most of the time he wont take them.
Palliative care is specialized medical care for people living with a serious illness. This type of care is focused on providing relief from the symptoms and stress of the illness. The goal is to improve quality of life for both the patient and the family.

Palliative care is provided by a specially-trained team of doctors, nurses, social workers, chaplains, and other specialists who work together with a patient’s other doctors to provide an extra layer of support. Palliative care is based on the needs of the patient, not on the patient’s prognosis. It is appropriate at any age and at any stage in a serious illness, and it can be provided along with curative treatment

You know how I feel. I'm with Iris here. Hospice can help in so many different ways.

It is extremely hard to not try and force him to go. It eats at my soul . I feel like Im the bad guy here. I have begged and pleaded for him to go but I do know these hospitals here and I know what they can and cant do. They cant do anything for him that isn't already being done.
I'm tired all, 3 hrs. sleep last night. I'm gonna try to get to bed earlier than normal. Sweet dreams all.

Granny. Get some rest. Morning may come with refreshed thoughts as to what..you..think is best for him. Like you've said. You know what the hospital will do. The same as whats going on. You ..know..what he wants and doesn't want. You shouldn't feel guilty for keeping his wishes.

Good morning, Grannyland! Hope everyone is having a lovely morning.

I am amazed at how much better I feel here, my arthritis is not bothering me at all. Back home I wake up groaning in pain. I can't open my stiff hands and it takes a while before I can walk comfortably. None of that here. Honeestly I feel 20 years younger! Is it the lower humidity here?

That's good news. Have you thought of moving back? If it got rid of my pain I wouldn't know how to act. My Nancy also lived there and misses it terribly.

Very excited to move to the new house. Not sure when we will move. I hope having close neighbors will not be traumatic. When we lived in Florida, after living in the country, I didn't like living there. Fortunately, we will be close to the studio where I teach classes. Right now , we are helping the studio owner make 500 little heart dishes for a company that's working to promote the city. They will be giving them away at a function to promote the area. Yesterday I spent 8 hours applying color to these dishes. We need to have them done by the 15th of this month!
