howdys all, I have slept a lot last night and today. I feel so lost and empty with him not here. Not sure if I told it or not but case worker called from hospital saying their plan was rehab then a home. All w/o consulting the family they decided his fate. Needless to say I am upset. I told her they don't even know if he can walk or not. So they tested him and it took 2 people to get him to stand and he cant walk so I agreed to rehab but no home. He will come home on palliative care. They said he is very confused and saying he needs to get home to Detroit.

Good morning, Grannyland. Not sure if I will have internet on plane or not. Flight leaves at 11 a.m. Mt Time. Have to be at airport at 9 a.m., leaving here at 8. This has been mostly a wonderful week but I am ready to get home to my family and chickens.

It's very frustrating when you can't be in the hospital helping with decisions. Especially when he's not able to make decisions himself and even more when he's not capable of telling you what is happening. If he does go to a rehab I hope they move him closer to your home
