they told me someone can get hospice if they a 6 month lifespan.

When I was working with hospice we had several patients that had been with the company more than a year. Hospice reevaluates the patients every 6 months. One of the patients was changed to home care after she had been on hospice 2 years.

Everything you guys told me was true. All I read on Google was not. I talked to them today. She was going to get it touch w/ the hospital as to when he can be released then they will bring him home. I'm happy he is coming home. Scared I wont be able to take care of him.

Google does not have experience with the real world. It's best to get information from the people that work in the field, even if you have to make a lot of phone calls. Take advantage of all the services hospice provides and ask questions! If you don't know what to ask explain what you need to them. If one person doesn't know, ask who you need to talk to that will know. Being scared is OK it just means you know you need help and are willing to try.
