The kids' dad is in hospital. He was on his way to VA hospital yesterday for treatment for lung infection when he hit a truck, totalled car. Fell asleep? Had another stroke? They are keeping him for 3 days, I guess for observation. He says he's not hurt but he doesn't remember whether he talked to me earlier (he did) and his speech is a bit slurred. I made both kids call and talk to him, tell him they love him. Just in case ...

Just talked to SSA Im losing $800. a month and having to pay an extra $200. So we are $1,000. in the hole. IDK what we will do.

And, Scott had scoliosis quite bad, and one leg shorter than the other. He was in the Army. Retired.
