I got another box of food today. Its in Toms name. I did tell the case worker he was gone so its not on me. I just got it squeezed into the freezer. Matter of fact I canceled his before he passed. He wouldn't eat them and was getting 2 a day then my one a day and I was the only one eating them. I bet there's 30 in there right now.

What does that mean? We are stuck at the Medicaid level.

In order to get approved, Medicaid is the last step. They ask for 5 years worth of info. They said they didn't get my documents so now I have to have a hearing

when I called medicare the woman wanted to push my Medicare thru. Its not due for another 2? years. I'm not sure why . I did ask her twice but I never understood what she was telling me.

I forgot to ask for Toms hearing aid. I'm gonna wonder now if they took it out. They didn't put Roberts rosery in with the ashes. He had already put it in the van and left but I went back in to ask him and he hadn't. He took the box back in and did it.

Why is it that people who need help can't get it but everyone who doesn't need it gets it? One of life's great mysteries for me.

When I wen to the dept of aging for my dad they told me to put in for SNAP for him. I did. 88 year old man who worked his whole life and was told he was eligible for 40$ a month. He paid into the system and they offered him 40$ a month? I told his case worker, no thanks, I was sure there was some single woman in town working on her 6th pregnancy who needed it more than he did. I think back on it now and it sounds pretty snarky but like Granny, I had just watched a loved one slowly die, (my mother) I was trying to bring my elderly father suffering from dementia home and was planning a funeral as well as trying to figure out how to pay hospital doctor and funeral bills with only 600 dollars in the bank and they offered him 40 dollars? I was pretty fried at the time and tired of dealing with people who just seemed not to care about their jobs past getting their pay checks.

Everything worked out in the end which is why I can say to @Granny Hatchet and @lovesfarms, have faith. Jesus is listening to your prayers and ours for you and feeling your pain. He hasn't forgotten or forsaken you but holding you close to his heart.

I've been really stressed out. I had called in to change his address when we moved here but apparently they didn't change it everywhere. That is on the list of to dos. So I called in again to change it cause you can't do it on line. They asked him where he grew up and he gave every answer imaginable but they kept saying it's wrong. We even called his sister and her answers were wrong. After we hung up, I called in again to see if I get a different person. It was a man and he accepted DH answer. He made a phone appointment so we can change it. Thinking I could still do better, I called again and the lady said nobody knows how to do it right so she changed his address. I logged into my social security and saw she changed his mailing address but not the residential address. Every time I call in, I'm on hold at least half an hour. That phone appointment is tomorrow and.... Now DH has blood in his urine and has aDrs appointment and I'm afraid it will over lap. Of course they won't speak to me
