Granny's gone and done it again

I am afraid with Medicare added on it may screw up your Medicaid.
She can get both. Medicare pays out those extra plans with it. Dental, Hearing, and Eyes.
If they're saying they want to push her up 2 years then it would be great to get both.

  • Dual eligibility: A person can be eligible for both programs simultaneously if they meet the criteria for both, based on age, disability, or income.
  • Primary and secondary payer: Medicare is considered the primary payer, while Medicaid is the secondary payer.
  • Coverage: Medicare covers most Medicare-eligible services, and Medicaid can help pay for remaining costs like copayments, premiums, and services not covered by Medicare, such as long-term care.
