Granny's gone and done it again

My new partials (dentures) are in so I'll soon be leaving to go get them. Please God, may they actually fit and let me chew real food, I haven't been able to for a couple of months. These are temporaries, but hopefully they'll do for now. Also going to Hobby Lobby for some gift bags for the cookies and fudge for the mail carrier and a few others, then to Pet Smart for DH's gift. Getting him a better kitty litter box or two, one he doesn't have to sift, maybe an automated one. He's hard to shop for but I bet he'll like that!
He has to clean the litter box? We wouldn’t have a cat inside for that reason.

Good morning Granny Land! It's a cool rainy day here in Southern Alabama. I don't envy all of you that are getting snow and freezing weather. Sorry I missed all of you yesterday. I was busy in the kitchen all day baking cookies and fixing meals. Some church friends came by last night and sang carols for us. Today is laundry day and baking more cookies. Peanut chocolate chip and sugar cookies to give as gifts. Pa wants pumpkin bread so I may do that too. Have a great day. BBL
The tule fog lifted yesterday. 60 degrees and full sun!

Shinju was a 5-yo indoor cat when we got her. Even though we have pet doors - and she can use them - she mostly spends her life indoors. Occasionally she'll go out and sit on the railing above the back step, but that's about it. DH loves cats and has probably cleaned litter boxes all his life, so this is nothing new. Sylva also prefers a box during storms and I don't blame her, but her box is GC's responsibility, as she is her cat. It's worth it to always have cats when you live in the country, beats the heck out of having mice or rats.

I like sweet and sour chicken too. I also like moo goo guy pan (sliced chicken with mushrooms and snow peas in a light sauce) and teriaki chicken. If you like it spicy get General Tsao's chicken its stir fried chicken with peppers and vegetables in a dark spicy sauce.
I made peanut butter chocolate chip cookies this morning and am starting a batch of soft sugar cookies as soon as I get back to the kitchen. The sugar cookie recipe is one my Mom gave me in 1965.
Betty Crocker cook book has been my go to.

Why, doesn’t it need to be thinned? The main cause of bad fires is they are not thinning our forests.
This is not thinning. They are taking out the big trees, which crushes the small trees. Plus the machine he uses just chews through fences and all. Looks even worse because there are no leaves on the trees. Plus, most of the trails we walk are blocked.

Unfortunately my cat is terrified outside. And scared of strangers. Indoor cat, and we have few visitors.
