Shortest day of the year? How will I ever get anything done, since I seem to be stuck in neutral.
Last night my friend D and I, plus 2 other friends went to see Heart in concert. The concert hall was behind on the building schedule, and instead of building to plan, they made 2/3 of the hall with a flat floor. Very poor visualization of the show. Also, too much with flashing lights in the light show. ( I get triggered to migraines by that.) So I didn't even try to look at the stage. And the gambling area was very smoke filled. Must be getting to be an old fogie, because I think being at home would be more comfortable. The music was great, especially toward the end of the performance. Having not been to a concert in 40+ years, it was so different than my usual life. But good to spend time with friends.

Sorry it wasn't all it could have been but at least you got some joy out of it.
Your comment about being stuck in neutral reminded me of an old episode of All in the Family where Rob Reiner (Mike Stevic) was stuck in neutral.

I'm here sitting of. Laid awake and up and down until 3:30. Not sure what happened. I did go shopping at Target with the kids in the evening. I don't usually go out too late in the day.
Cap..I sure know what you mean about bright lights and migraines. Glad the music was good anyway.

Dang, Christmas Day will be 82° here. Weird stuff.

Yeah, we will be in the mid-70's. When we lived in central Florida we often wore shorts on Christmas.
