Granny's gone and done it again

It actually wasn't painful at the time as most of my mouth was numb. But I took the denture out last night to wash it as directed, and THAT was painful. And putting it back in ... was almost more than I could bear. I'm dreading doing it tonight and in fact, might not.

Unless @microchick or someone yells at me and tells me I must.
Oh man, no pressure there!

I have an upper removable partial bridge that I've had for about 30 years now. 25 years ago it had to be enlarged after I lost more teeth to a congenital condition called internal resorption. I also lost a bunch of the front part of my jaw as the teeth had fused to the bone so it wasn't fun. I was still healing when the dentist handed me the new partial and told me to put it in. My reaction was like yours.

Whimper....

Did it hurt? Oh yeah it hurt bunches. But the dentist told me that it would help protect the healing tissue and yes it would hurt to take it out and put it in but I needed to do that to clean it and rinse my mouth out so it didn't taste 'yucky' and give me BO. So I did. Thing still hurts to this day when I take it out and put it back in so my best advice is to put on your big girl panties, take a deep breath and see how fast you can get it done.

I get some food from Amazon. Just be careful what you order because they have a habit of dumping everything in the same box with very little padding. I've had more than one bag of chips come smashed and one box of Del Monte peach fruit cups squished because they tossed them in with three cases of canned dog food.

Oh wow that’s ridiculous!!!!! I forgot I’ve ordered chips from there too LOL

My son is constantly grumbling about the lack of thought put into packing the boxes and trucks by wharehouse staff. He is a delivery driver for food services, and gets to unpack this stuff into the clients freezers and cool rooms. So apparently it is an endemic problem with packers worldwide.

why do you order from Amazon, is it cheaper than Walmart?

Morning all, man.. every muscle I have is hurting today. Feels like I ran a marathon.
When I first read this I read it as, every muscle I have is hunting today.
I thought to myself, what has Granny been taking? :lau
I read it again and properly comprehended it.
