I missed not having a tree up all month. This isn't the first year but now I can be thankful I don't have to do any clean-up. I used to take the tree down after presents and dinner. lol

Yes, a good day. The enchiladas are in the oven, beans and rice are warming. We'll be eating very soon. The kids got a set of Beats headphones for me. They're like the big head set a pilot wears, much nicer than the earbuds that fit inside your ear like sn earplug. And we got DH a fancy new kitty litter box that hopefully will be easier to clean.

Brandon is Roberts other aid. Headphones sound nice. Nancy bought me a nice shirt and I told her it will look great w/ my sweat pants. LOL She was shocked to learn that is all the pants I own

I have heard church is the best place to go to meet new friends. I know bars don't work. lol There are many that are lonely just waiting for someone to step up and say hello. Tom being gone makes this house feel so strange but Robert is acting much kinder to me . Not that we don't have our days, we do but not as many or as strong. I am lucky to still have him home

Blue, what are those things you wrap up in corn husks? I only had them once. Home made from a friend in Detroit but they sure were good! Have you ever made them?
