Granny's gone and done it again

I was turning a pocket inside out over a garbage can. That's all. And backed up when done. That's all. It's been trying to get worse for a while. I've been sitting here with heat on it for awhile. Going to get up now and give er a test. I need to put the clothes and jackets in the dryer. 🤞
 
Lijah always gets up about this time of night to fix himself a "snack." Instant oatmeal, piece of pie, bowl of warm Grape-Nuts ... tonight he's cooking himself a couple of over-easy eggs. Smells good in there. He always offers me some ... he gets 'em too crusty for me though. Pan's too hot.

Try ice first, Cynthia. Reduces inflammation. 15 minutes on, 15 off. Repeat 3x. Heat later. Meanwhile, use support. Do you have a cane or anything?

Heat works for me. It seems better now..yaay.
Yes, a cane and a walker. Mostly for my vestibular problem. On real woozy days.
I had to use a walker for quite a while when I had a flare up with my right sciatica. Man those can hurt.

Austin is suffering with that now. He just went to a great Dr. Told him i want to go to him. lol
This man is covering all bases for him. He's been to a couple of Dr's and a Chiropractor. ( I'm not a fan of Chiropractors) Anyway, in he goes for a MRI. This dr says it could just be a bulging disc, but Austin has gotten worse this past 6 months. So the dr says let's rule out a blown disc or a hidden tumor.

One of the best stretches I know for sciatica is to get your affected knee as close to your opposite chest as possible by any means, and press and hold until it releases. I usually wrap my arms under my knee and pull as if my life depends on it. Have not had a problem with sciatica in quite a while, thank God!

I have to tell on myself, although, this jacket mind you, has not been worn in years.The pocket had shavings in it. LOL.. yes, from my chicken days. 🤪
