I hear ya, @BigBlueHen53 I feed pellets also. Got told 'everybody feeds crumbles around here' by the local MFA. My response? Everybody's chickens don't knock them out of the feeder onto the floor and then take dust baths in them.

I buy 16% layer pellets at Orscheln's now. Price can go down to 9.99 on sale for 40# and they actually eat them....gasp! If you use BOSS and have an Orscheln's down there, they have them on sale right now for 16.99 a 40# bag.

Thanks, Chick! We just got a big bag of BOSS recently, no idea what DH paid for it. Our Orscheln's is now a Bomgaar's. Rest well, my friend!

So here are the "usual suspects" when anything strange happens.

Left to right Curly Sue, Orphan Annie and then Partly Sunny. They are attempting to get Craig to hand out the slices of bread faster.

Fixed where they were supposedly escaping. Took me 5 minutes and NO tools. Keep in mind Mike aka the idiot had all week to attempt to fix it.
