A bit of a shocker this morning.
I was woke up this morning by a phone call from my brother.
My mom was found deceased on the floor of her apartment this morning.
She seemed healthy enough and did most things for herself, being 82 years old.
She was living with my brother, his family were caring for and helping her with anything she couldn’t do by herself.

Troyer, I'm sorry and grieve with you. Condolences to you and your family and blessings to you mother's soul for eternal rest and peace in God's loving arms.

I'm OK, Pa has a cold possibly a sinus infection but he seems to be better today. He has an appointment in February to see a specialist about his hips. Hope to get some answers. He is having issues with his computer that prevents him from posting here for some reason. He misses all of you.

Tell him we miss him too. The hip problem sucks, no other way to put it. My back still isn't being kind to me but it is a relief knowing that it is causing my gut problems and not something new. Doc said the nerves share common roots and common exit points from the spinal cord and when one nerve gets inflamed, it affects the other. So that is what is causing my pain and gut problems. How to fix it Idunno but knowing what it is is half the battle. Hope knowing is the same for him.

Got to take Pi to the vet this afternoon. Little devil is into her personality today, all sass and mischief.

@CapricornFarm, meant to mention it yesterday. Got your Christmas card. Wow, only took three days from you to me. That has to be the best time from the longest distance. One card crossed two states and took a week. And for this we pay the big bucks.
