Granny's gone and done it again

Keep forgetting what I wanted too say. Nancy for a hot min. Talked to Nancy and she said her mate was diagnosed w stag4 kidney failure.
Oh that's too bad! I don't know what that means but it doesn't sound good. Do they need a transplant? Dialysis?

Oh man. My knee has not given me any trouble for quite a while now, and in fact I've been daring even to go out to the hen house without a cane. But all of a sudden ... it feels a bit like it did after it broke. Not so severely, of course, but just a little bit. Enough to where I don't want to walk and if I do I'm hobbling around in a lot of pain. Just took some EX Tylenol.
My back has been a bit better today. Yesterday was BAD. Could hardly walk and put pressure on my left leg. Today, sore but not as painful unless I try to bend over. Lots of muscle spasms which aren't pleasant but at least I can walk a bit better.

Think it's the change in weather making your knee act up?

One or the other. Stage 4 for anything isn't good.
Stage 4 chronic kidney disease (CKD), also referred to as stage 4 renal failure, indicates severe kidney damage with an estimated glomerular filtration rate (eGFR) between 15 and 29 mL/min/1.73m², meaning the kidneys are functioning at only 15–29% of their normal capacity. This stage is the last before end-stage kidney failure (stage 5), and while kidney damage is irreversible, treatment focuses on slowing progression and managing complications such as high blood pressure, anemia, bone disease, heart problems, and metabolic acidosis.

Sitting in the truck during break and relaxing while at I’m at the viewing for my mother.
All is well.

I haven't had the flu in years, had pneumonia in 2020 along with Covid. The worst symptom was the cough and difficulty breathing. I never lost the taste buds but Pa did.
