The ins and out's are very complicated. I shouldn't have said crazy people. Everybody's situation is different and I didn't mean to be judgemental. I'm just very frustrated right now. A Medicaid lawyer helped me with the home sale and she also gave me the documents I should give to them. Glad for her help! Medicaid rules/ laws are very difficult to understand and I'm not sure their employees even understand them allAgreed but I'm trying to word this carefully so I don't get in trouble. There are exceptions going on right now where people were having medicaid cards handed to them no questions asked. They were not asked for 5 years of financial records. It was, here is your medicaid card and here is your Public Aid check, let us know if you need anything else.
This exception seems unfair to me when the general public has to prove innocence and are considered guilty until they do. I worked in the nursing home industry so I know the ins and outs. I also know when I had to institutionalize my father I had to provide X number of years of their financial information. I also know that my mother had his name taken off of the house deed and had my name put on it then had everything bequeathed to me in a will to protect it. No problem. So there must be a certain amount of 'transfers' that they will accept and tolerate before alarms are set off.
no no no no absolutely not no way was I referring to you or any post. I'll drop you a quick PM and splain. The ins and out's are very complicated. I shouldn't have said crazy people. Ummmmm.....that's icky. Don't think I've seen anything like that come from my birds and they've had some pretty weird poo down through the years. Almost looks cecal. All cecal. Other than that no idea.
So does not look like coccidiosis or anything I should treat? I don't see any blood in it but I know c. isn't always bloody .... we haven't had a lot of rain lately. I guess a round of Corid wouldn't hurt? Now that we trimmed wings I can be sure they'll all get the treatment.Ummmmm.....that's icky. It wouldn't hurt. Worming is usually my go to when one of my birds is acting weirder than usual. I've never seen coccidia in any of my birds poo but I've sure as the devil had birds with coccidiosis so I don't think that is a go to symptom with birds. So does not look like coccidiosis or anything I should treat? A lot of mine used to get poopy bottoms. I think it’s more common in fluffier breeds and/or heavier breeds and especially if they’re slightly overweight, it can change the angle of their vent so I’ve heard? IDK LOL not saying yours are or aren’t overweight though. Especially cause my Leghorn had a poopy bottom a lot too so I really don’t know. I think it just happens sometimes. I did try to clean them but yeah.Nobody is acting weird or lethargic. I'll check keel bones tonight. I had to clip dried poop off one of the OG gals last night, it's too cold to bathe her, and Melissa said one of the BA pullets has a poopy hiney this afternoon too. So ....![]()
