I meant to say that I have never seen blood in any of my birds poo with coccidia but they sure have had it. Lost a young bird to it and had Welsummers that used to be particularly sensitive to it. They would lose weight, become lethargic and droopy. If I didn't bolus them and treat everyone then I'd lose birds for sure.

I don't know what to call some of those colors on the left. But I'm real happy with my Am pullet egg on the right!

I would call the middle and right top row olive. What ever you call them they are beautiful.
We got our first eggs from our Isa Brown pullets on Friday. They were a medium to large size, not pullet size and a very dark brown. Today I got 5 eggs from 6 hens. These are the first Isa Brown chickens we have had. Our Bielefelder's started 2 weeks ago and I'm getting 6 to 8 eggs from 14 hens. They are the biggest hens I have ever raised! they must weigh 10 pounds and the roosters 15.

Wow, Iris! Those are some big hens! My pullets' eggs are also very dark, almost as dark as my Marans'! I expect they will grow lighter as the eggs get bigger.

same here Shrek but is it because the woman's don't come wide enough? I have extra bone in both of my feet making shoes very hard to find. I feel like sometimes I should toss the shoes and wear the box. lol

It’s a few different things. My feet are just huge first of all (men’s 12) and then second of all they are fairly wide, yes. And also I have a high instep too. All of this means finding shoes is nearly impossible LOL
