Granny's gone and done it again

Well, here is Austin's story. I can write it out now without bawling.
He's had 2 different MRI'S lately because he keeps having back pain.
He went in to see his Dr with his newest complaint. That little lump in his..ts. Don't want to spell it out. It isnt prostate though. So, the Dr comes in and tells him that the MRI shows a concerning matter. His red blood cells are concerning within the spine. He he haws around and tries to say I dont want to scare you but then.. he right out and says..I'm not saying it is,..because I want to do some blood work. But it looks like Leukemia. Poor Austin's face has the Dr feeling worse and says again, blood work will tell us. They talked more, Dr. talks about things.
Austin went out to his car, sat there and just cried. Went and got his..ts..ultrasound.
Came home and Bronwyn and him just held each other. This Dr did not waste a second to get results to Austin. Negative for Leukemia. Now to get other results from the blood work. There were three different panels that point to his liver. Austin did ask while in office if it wasn't Leukemia, what could it be? The dr. shrugged his shoulders and said honestly, I don't know because this is what collected red blood cells in the spine look like.
Austin has had pain in his lower back and legs for 2 years now. He's been told he had a bulging disc. First MRI showed that he did. This MRI showed..no. This Dr. said whatever you've done, you've fixed that. He's been doing decompression. Worked.
Now we wait for the rest of the blood work and the ultra sound results.
Now, I will ask Blue to please ask for prayers for my Austin and family on the prayer thread.
Sorry Granny. I vented even more. Why does this help? Because we know friends have our back with thoughts and prayer.

Granny, what flavor GatorAde did he get? Instead of getting a whole case of one flavor he should get four or five little bottles of different flavors, and try them till he finds a glavor he likes.
It was propel and 3 different flavors. He was getting them for me. I don't have one drop of energy since I got sick. My sodium is low.

What a terrible roller coaster to be on. I'm sorry and happy for you at the same time.

@Cynthia12, of course, he's added to my prayer list as is your whole family. Not knowing is the worse and today's medicine is only so so accurate when it comes to diagnosing things. If the doctor or the hospital where he had the MRIs done has a patient portal, I urge him to set up an account so he can look at his test results direct. There will be a lot of medical mumbo jumbo but I always spend a lot of time looking everything up so I have a clear picture of what the doctors are talking about.

Prayers that nothing major is found.

@grannyhatchet, get one of those small 'bear hug' honey holders that hold about 10 ounces of honey that you can squeeze out as you need it. They are inexpensive and you aren't left with a lot of wasted honey.

Did he use one of those inversion tables? Good for him. Sometimes we have to do our own research and go from there. Prayers for him.

When I went in for my consult on my shoulder, they were setting up the date and asked me what my co insurance was and I said don't have one. Great was their response. Medicare doesn't care what order we do. Don't have to get any preauthorizations.

One time I was really glad not to have a coinsurance.

It's like 54 degrees here today but windy and cloudy so not that pleasant. I've got a doctors appointment tomorrow and believe me I will have a fresh KN95 mask plastered to my face and a bottle of hand sanitizer in my pocket when I walk in the door.

But don’t you pay 20 percent of all charges including surgery?
