WHY do my posts do this!! grr..... Anyway, he gave the whole case to his worker!
I don’t understand. It is slimy? My LMNT packets are not slimy at all

Turns? Honey never goes bad.
In humid arreas like mine those honey bears crystallize real fast and are real hard to scrape out with a spoon because of the shape. Sure, it's still honey but it's not convenient. Granny, don't get those. Get the simple oval-shaped jar with the flat blue lid and keep it upside down on its lid. Humid air can't get into it and it won't turn to sugar. We have 99% humidity here a lot and I've learned this the hard way!

Granny you said that you need sugar, Have you tried sipping warm tea with honey in it for your cough? As long as your blood sugar doesn't go up too bad it might soothe your throat.
I like to put a tiny bit of ground ginger in hot tea to help the cough. Not much just a bit. My Dad used to make me a hot toddy when I was coughing badly.

No worries about it going to high. I struggle to keep it up to normal levels. No, I haven't tried that. I would if I had some... Hard to keep honey here. It turns so quickly.
I found an article in Eating well magazine that I saved. This is what they said about storing honey. Hope it helps.

How to Store Honey

Here are a few tips for storing honey:

Store in an Airtight Container

It's important to tightly close the lid of your honey container to prevent contamination from environmental microbes. This also prevents your honey from absorbing additional moisture. More moisture means more water, which makes it easier for bacterial growth to happen.

Keep in a Dry and Cool Area

Honey can be stored in a refrigerator, but this will cause it to crystallize faster. Crystallization isn't a bad thing, but most of us find it easier to use honey when it's liquid. To prevent this from happening, it's best to keep your honey in a cool spot, such as a cupboard or pantry.

Avoid Cross-Contamination and Water

Never use dirty or wet utensils to spoon honey out of the jar. This can invite unwanted bacteria and mold to grow.

All you have to do is gently warm it. It liquifies very nicely. We have honeybees. Honey is liquid gold.

Pull up a chair and help me out.
This is plenty for two.
Sweet potatoes and onions fried in coconut oil. Two eggs and cheese added toward the end of frying.
