Okay, no hug, maybe a warm handshake?
Around here you can tell the Amish who run sawmills. They are missing a finger from the middle knuckle up. The older guys have a couple missing. We went to an Amish auction once and kept nudging one another going....saw mill....saw mill....saw mill.
Pi id is doing wonderful with her house breaking. Not perfect but she will run to the door and scream bloody murder when she wants to make a poo and last night held her poo all night for the first time. DH said the first time she went out this morning she pp'ed once but pooed 3 times. He was surprised she had that much in her. #1 still needs some work. She forgets to ask to go out but we've noticed that when Buck and Spot goes out with her she does better.
What's funny is the way she plays her Daddy. DH will take her out and she will roam all over the yard with him hot on her tail then runs away from him in the opposite direction when he gets close to her. When he finally can catch her to pick her up she runs in circles around him yapping and trying to grab his pant leg. I take her out and she stays with me and will come back to me when she gets done doing her business. DH says it's plain that she's 'Mommy's Girl' but I think she just relates to each one of us differently. Daddy is fun and games and mommy is cuddles, praise and food....we are both her hand servants, lol.
Wear a mask in the public areas. Pure and simple. Lots of flu and covid here too. I've been to the docs twice in two weeks. Masked both times. I'm fine.
