Granny's gone and done it again

We fell in love with our property the first time we saw it. The house not so much. Not all Amish are master builders and the one that built this house shouldn't have been given a hammer and handful of nails. We have been working on it for 16 years and have improved it a lot but still have a ways to go.

Look at it this way. God puts you where he wants you to be for a reason. You might not know that reason now but someday you will.
True that.

I would love a Tesla wall generator. But pricey.
We have a generator. One we used for camping for our trailer. It sits in the garage. Hasn't been started in years. Im thinking we need to get that going. If power went out for a length of time, it could keep our freezer outside going and our fridge inside.

my sil left a gas powdered generator on my back porch for us to use. They needed money so I told them to come get it and I think they got $400. for it.

Coat sounds nice. I used to put plastic bags over my shoes to stay dry. I don't remember having a pair of shoes that didn't have a hole in them. LOL I was rough on clothes.
I found my snow boots on Amazon two years ago during Prime Days before Christmas. I'm usually rough on snow boots but so far so good with these. Usually I wear y Ariat boots which are my farm boots but they are only ankle high. I think we have gotten about 4 inches of snow so far. Took Pi out so she could play in it. So much fun watching her 'plowing' through the snow with her nose. I imagine it;s the most snow that she has seen.
