Granny's gone and done it again

Did you say it was in the joint area..could be Pattellar Luxatuon. I had a pup fall off the couch years ago. That's what he had. At the front elbow. Just needed time.
Prayers.
It turned out to be a fracture in her 'ankle' the tarsal tibia bone. Everything is in alignment and they didn't recommend any pinning as it's a growth plate bone and they want it to heal naturally. So she came home in a splint, drugged to the limit and happily snoring on the sofa between DH and myself. They sent home like 4 different pain meds for her.Just common sense stuff. They said at worse her right leg might grow a bit slower than the right but that was it.

All I can say is Thank God for answered prayers. DH and I have both been up since around 4:30. Neither of us slept good. Hopefully we can both catch a nap this afternoon.

Thanks for the prayers everyone.

:clap:highfive::yesss: Good news!

I had a piece of my homemade whole wheat toast and a bowl of Raisin Bran. Getting that cereal in here to my recliner with my walker was sn adventure.

I put the cereal in the bowl to measure it, then put it in a baggie. I poured some milk into a drink bottle with a lid. I put the bottle of milk, the cereal, the bowl and a spoon in pockets of my apron and hobbled to my recliner, where I assembled it all into a bowl of cereal and enjoyed it. I can do things! The guys are at work and Melissa's on her way to Cape to see the ortho about HER knee. I'm on my own. I put on a pot of beans for supper too.

Necessity is the mother of all invention. Women are natural multitaskers. We have to be able to hold a baby, stir a pot on the stove, talk on the phone and keep an eye on a toddler at all times all the while holding a conversation with the husband. Comes natural to us.
