Granny's gone and done it again

Good evening Granny Landers! I've been busy all day, haven't had a chance to even sit down until now. It was such a pretty day I worked outside most of the afternoon getting a flower bed ready to plant. Now I have to decide what I want to plant. It's partial shade so I need to do some research on plants that will do well there.
MC I had a similar experience with 3 bantam roosters we have. They are very randy and think they should mount every hen on the property whether the hen cooperates or not. It's funny to watch them try to subdue a hen three time bigger than they are.

Yeah, mine do the same thing. What's funny is to see one of my large hens walking around with a little one and a half pound bantam rooster standing on her back with a beak full of neck feathers and she's just going on about her business, scratching in the dirt and pecking for bugs like he isn't even there. The Fayoumi hens just tuck their heads between their knees and the little guys just somersault over their necks and land on their backs with their feet in the air. First time I saw them do that to the roosters my response to the boy has been...had enough or do you need to be humiliated more?

Let's just say they really love to be humiliated.

On the other hand, I've seen a group of my SDW roosters gang up on a larger rooster that's tried to put the moves on one of the hens that they think is 'theirs' even if she is 4X larger than they are and beat the crap out of him. Diamonds and dynamite as the saying goes.

We went for DH cat scan at the oncologist. Awaiting those results and also the DNA blood reports which will probably take another two weeks for those results. We are spoiled with the patient portal

My serama roos did that too. I wanted to get them little cowboy hats.

I think the lady that owns the ceramics studio is tired of hearing about my illnesses. It's hard when someone asks you how you are. I don't say shitty, I just say, I am still alive. Should I lie and say I am great?
People at the studio used to enjoy my work. It lifted me up, above the pain. But I have not been making much in the last couple of months during the move, and this bad weather.
What i need is a good friend, locally to shop hang out with . Good friends are hard to find. People are busy. Or too old to get around much. And some things I am just too decrepit to do any more.

People at the studio used to enjoy my work. It lifted me up, above the pain. But I have not been making much in the last couple of months during the move, and this bad weather.
What i need is a good friend, locally to shop hang out with . Good friends are hard to find. People are busy. Or too old to get around much. And some things I am just too decrepit to do any more.

If we lived closer, Cap, I'd proudly be that friend. We could sit down over cups of brown liquid sadness and compare maladies to our hearts content and completely understand one another.

This doesn't sound like you Cap. Things with your home should settle down soon and before you know it spring will be here. Do you have room there for a small garden? For now. I would suggest you paint inside. Make it yours! Something bright and cheerful maybe? Hang in there my friend. I do love you.
