Why doesn't he make them? I cant eat the whites made like that. Makes me really sick. It's 9:30 and I have to go boil eggs for DH breakfast. About an hour ago Lijah plopped down on the couch and started eating one and says, "We're out of boiled eggs." And I went, "What?!?" And he says, "Yeah this is the last one." Great, says I, next time let me know when there are 2 or 3 left, because those are for Grandpa's breakfast! Grrr.
Oh my goodness! Has she done this before? Can you break her? How long does it take? And what breed is she? This is my broody hen video, Mocha, very very very broody.
Yeah Melissa can't either. Elijah is working full time at a lumber mill and trying to keep his college grades up. He barely has time to eat and sleep. Why doesn't he make them? I cant eat the whites made like that. Makes me really sick.
She's a bantam cross, probably BBR with a bit of Amish Barnyard about her. And yes, she's done this before and will probably do it again this summer. Problem is that she isn't a good broody. I tried giving her eggs once and she stayed on them for about 10 days and bolted. I wound up having to shove the eggs under two other broodies and when they had staggered hatches, shoved the eggs in my incubator so yep, she gets broke now. I have a wire broody buster 'jail' that they do time in. 3 days with additional days until they come to their senses.Oh my goodness! Has she done this before? Can you break her? I've been getting them too. I'm afraid a whistle won't work here. It's not a real person. Best thing I can do is just let it ring. No answer. If you answer then they know someone will pick up and keep trying. Your number will be handed off. They keep leaving messages that I've got thousands of dollars waiting for me..somewhere. Yep, I'm old. They know it. They actually have some old folks fall for their life's.I had so many spam numbers calling me (same area code), sometimes within 15 minutes of each other and as early as 4:30 in the morning. I blocked every call and got so tired of it, I put a whistle in my pocket and 3 times I blew the whistle into the phone. No more calls. I would've used a hair dryer but never had it handy.
Jinx?ohh never thought of the whistle! I will have to remember where its at! I also get a lot but if you stop answering it and wait for a message to see if its not a crank call before you pick up the spam slows down a lot!
I get 5 or 6 spam calls every day! They want to talk to me about my loan application (i don't have one) or I've been preapproved to apply for a loan (i don't want one) I don't answer or just let it ring then block the number.I've been getting them too. Hopefully they'll give up now that I've stopped blocking them and or immediately hang up while ringing. That also let's them know someone is here. No answer ..they're not sure it's a legit number any longer.
