I looked on my chart today. Not sure why, I normally don't and wish I hadn't. Appt. w/ primary at 3. I cant/wont take Robert. He cussed the Dr. out. Its in Vevay In. 45 min. ride. Stinks!

You guys need to be closer to town.
Each diagnosis has it's own code. If the procedure is covered under that diagnosis, you're good. If not, you need another diagnosis.

He still isn't checking it like he should be. He did finally stop the soda. Well, he went to coke O and has had a few drops. Dr. backed him off 10mg. insulin at night. Other than that he still isn't doing right

I have dropped a lit smoke twice today. Once making a couple holes in my blanket and burnt my finger where it just slid thru and second time no damage. I could kinda understand this if I was dozing off but Im not. I went right back to where I started from when Tom died and I was doing so good too. I know you guys are not the right people to be telling this to because I don't like all the advise Im giving. I'm sorry but I have to figure this out on my own. I'm just frustrated. I am going to try again soon . I AM gonna lick this thing.

Hi everyone. Happy Hump Day. Weather continues to be nice here. 48 for the high and plenty of sun shine.

I've been trying to get things caught up from last year, like moving appliances out and sweeping and cleaning under them which was a no go in 2025. I may get caught up by 2027.

Granny, nobody is going to lecture you. You have been through a lot and you alone know what you need. Just be careful, okay?

As for having to travel for medical care. That is SOP where we live. We can get limited care in La Plata. There is one doctor part time and one clinic but to get specialized care, you have to go to Kirksville which is 20 miles away and if you have to have any REALLY specialized care or surgery you have to go to Columbia or KC which are anywhere from 80 miles up away. A friend who needed heart surgery in IL wound up in an western St. Louis medical center in Missouri to have it done.

Times they are a changin and not for the good.

I dislike the distance to the Drs offices but I'm sure glad we still have the right to choose the Dr of our choice. DH had a really good orthopedist but he left the office and DH doesn't get relief from the shots in the knee from the new Ortho. Had to pay $15 for his records but Id rather take him to an Ortho who uses flouroscopy.

Thirty minutes to regular dr here, ER and Urgent Care, two hours to specialists in Cape Girardeau, three hours to St Louis. There are hospitals in both Cape and STL, but one is Mercy and one is St Francis. I guess ins decides where we go.

3 different people, 3 pokes, 3 tubes of blood and 2 blown veins. Why did I ever dread this appt.?? And for some unknown reason wants me back in 2 weeks. Oh joy.
