Granny's gone and done it again

Good morrrr- oops, afternoon, Grannyland! Hope all are doing as well as can be expected and improving every day. Sunny skies, nice temps all around? 52° here, pale blue skies.
Sunny and cool. But not freezing.
Very tired after two days with cleaning in our log cabin , among other activities.

It is 59°F here today with a light breeze. I managed to drag out a folding chaise longe outside do I could sit out here and watch/listen to chicken live tv. So peaceful and nice out. I don't like to sit with my feet on the ground bc I fear ticks so I'm happy in this, it's comfy. Merida, my SS hen, is hovering around me, staying close. She won't get on my lap but she is good company.

What are you thinking? Robert really wants to buy a small propane heater ( my buddy) something like that. Now I have actually bought this same thing years ago and it said to crack a window. I took it back. It scared me. Robert is saying its safe to use and you don't have to crack a window. I'm not buying that.
I got one like that and DH insists he smells the fuel and it's too dangerous to use. My guess is Robert will decide it's too dangerous once you start using it.

I just did some reading. Not that we have the $ but that's gonna be a hard NO from me!
I got mine free when I opened an Amazon credit card. I urge you not to get it. DH really wanted it and he's the one that decided it's too dangerous. I had it all set up and it worked fine. But I think Robert will do like DH once you've spent the money and he will decide it's too dangerous

DH also freaked out at the perfume the home nurse was wearing. I will admit it was strong but I am more tolerable then he is
In my opinion nurse should not be wearing perfume when she is working. The smell can mask patient symptoms, like the fruity smell a diabetic gets when their insulin is out of balance. Besides being annoying to other people. Some people think they need to take a bath in the perfume!

I'm thinking..300 dollars...!

My son is a prepper. For what IDK. A home generator would solve a lot of his worries. He has everything he thinks he would need to survive. Fire starters, water filter, MRE meals, Solar blankets, medical supply s. I mean, that's just a drop in the bucket.
So do I. Just not the MRE meals anymore. When Scott was alive we had them. Have to watch the dates on them. Yes, they do last, but we tend to not pay attention. Years go by before we know it. Staples like flour, sugar, rice, salt are good to have. Oh, dehydrated butter.
