h2oratt, enjoy your steak! I'm glad you are feeling a little better. Take those pain pills as long as you need them, they help you relax so your body can heal.
Cynthia12 what do you want to do? Can you think of something that would be enjoyable for that day? Maybe a visit from a friend.
I'm headed to the kitchen to fix a little lunch and maybe bake some cookies. Pa has requested lemon sugar cookies. I'll make enough to put some in the freezer. BBL

Tell Larry to eat one of those for me. Love lemon cookies and bars.

I got a call from my granddaughter who lives in Tennessee. She is pregnant with their first child; due in September. That will make great grand child number 13!

We're tied! Until my 14 th comes any day now. She's going to be induced on the 16th if she doesn't have her before then.

We bake cookies for one another on V day. DH loves Danish butter cookies so I make him those cut out with a heart cookie cutter. He made Chocolate Crinkle cookies for me since I didn't have any chocolate chips on hand. Anything chocolate or with chocolate in it is my favorite.

Today is also our two oldest dog's 13th birthday. Seems like they were just puppies yesterday, When they were dumped on us I picked each one up and said, we are going to grow old together. And so we have. I bake an Amish 1 egg cake for canine birthdays. Everyone gets a small slice so this single layer cake is perfect.

That's Valentine's day at our house.

@h2oratt, pain is always worse at night so my rule of thumb is to get pain meds on board before it sets in. Sleep heals. Enjoy those grilled steaks. It's cloudy, and threatening rain here so not grilling weather at only 49 degrees.

No swelling the same and now deep bruise over the whole area I tried to see if I could just do Tylenol last night. No. I woke up with Pain around midnight.

Yes this is her first. I will have to learn how to share photos on here. That is something I have never learned to do.
We are having BBQ smoked pork, fresh corn and black-eyed peas for supper. I made a spice cake yesterday so that will be desert. I baked 6 dozen sugar cookies today, most will go in the freezer.

What about swelling. . They said ice but it is too cold to apply ice. The swelling isn’t getting better. I can call them on Monday.
