Granny's gone and done it again

I was walking/exercising yesterday and decided to share a picture of myself.
If you would meet me in person on any given week day you could expect this version of me.

You look great! My daughter just went to Montana to visit her girlfriend.

Tom and I used to go to Red lobster for our Annv. and my Bday. We always took my father as it was his bday as well. And my eldest sister but I never took her so yesterday was bittersweet. A lot of memories there. I also couldn't get out of my seat yesterday. Nancy had to pull me out and she is just a little thing. Made me feel bad.
Yes. Life is all about change and how we adapt to it. My DH and I are going through a lot of changes. I know we need to give up the dogs. I would really like to travel before I get too old.

Pain. I put the ice pack on last night a couple of times for 10 min each. It totally changed my pain. Of course today is day 7 so maybe this is just normal. The must have put my heading vise to hold it place. I have a very forehead on that side of skull.
changed the pain how?

Yes, in Indiana, adult children are generally entitled to inherit a portion of their parent's estate if the parent dies without a will (intestate). Under Indiana’s intestate succession laws, if there is a surviving spouse, the children usually share half of the estate, while the spouse gets the other half. If there is no spouse, children inherit the entire estate. Not step children though.

That's interesting granny my parents live in Indiana. I'm not interested in their home or anything, but I know they are wanting to leave money for each of us, and if my mama is still living when my dad dies she is suppose to get so much. One of my older brothers lives with them, and I am very worried he will try to take advantage of her. I hate thinking about any of it 😥

Now I can’t remember. Maybe more of bone pain as opposed to an incision pain.
Since you are both on the title it should go to you.
I always thought it goes to the surviving spouse , even without a will.

So then how does apply to you? Tom has kids but step kids to you.
Who sent you the letter? The state?

Have you asked if they have a will?

The tax letter I got is going to be a hot mess. Many words and questions I don't understand. Has to be notarized too.asking for death cert. and will and if there isn't a will Indiana rules are followed concerning all his children..
If your name is on the title I don’t think you have anything to worry about.

I agree. If your name is on the title along with Tom's, it's yours. That's how Scott and I had it on our home.
Now on this home, Austin, Bronwyn, and I are on the title. Of course I figure I will die first, but, if something terrible happened and they died, it would be mine. I wouldn't be able to afford it though. All of the monthly bills, house taxes, property taxes. My own personal expenses. I would have to sell it. I would probably live with my daughter Mindi and son Jeff.
