Granny's gone and done it again

My calprotectin levels came back very high which is an indicator of active Crohn's disease. I googled high calprotectin and the AI feature said 'I am an AI, not a Doctor'. Isn't that funny? 🤣
If you have a Twitter/X account Grok is fantastic. I asked it a question about the economy once and wound up having an hour long conversation with it about everything from grocery shopping to puppies, It was like having a really really really good library that you could talk to.

This is what Brave Browser's AI Leo said about it:
Calprotectin is a protein complex composed of S100A8 and S100A9, primarily found in neutrophils, where it makes up to 60% of the cytosolic protein content. It plays a key role in the innate immune response by sequestering essential transition metals like manganese, zinc, and iron, thereby limiting microbial growth. This antimicrobial property makes calprotectin a crucial component of the body’s defense against infection.

Just what you need, your crohns to be active again. Hope you get to feeling better and can get it knocked back to remission again. :hugs

Thank you! Is your browsers name Brave? I have to read and reread that answer for it to sink into my thinker.

@troyer, the flatbread which you ate the other night is a tortilla. It's not a burrito until you put things in it and roll it up. Burrito is Spanish for "little burro," or little donkey, which it resenbles when it's all rolled up with food inside. 😊

I enjoyed my TOC program. This is just the qualifier for the actual TOC which will be in March. It's amazing to watch these people cook, but it doesn't do me any good, I don't actually learn anything useful. When am I going to cook with squid ink and red grouper? :lau
