I told my kids if they want to get to hold chicks and eat the special eggs they have to help care for the chickens too... of course I still do most of it myself because frankly I'd rather be out refreshing bedding than folding laundry, so we are both happy that way lol.

Got to play with my boys in the rooster pen today. 5 Niederrheiners that are about 4 months old. I can sit down and they will all gather around my feet. Mos of them will still allow me to pick them up. They bunk with Fric and Frac. Those are frizzled feathered bantam red Cochins that were supposed to be Cinnamon Queen pullets. It's funny watching them take a treat and putting it down and calling over a Niederrheiner cockerel that is 4 times their size.

Glad you got to play with your chickens. I know they love you.

Good morning Granny Land! Congratulations on the new Great grand baby Cynthia. I'm so happy for them!
I have been inundated with scam likely calls on my cell phone this morning 12 calls in 15 minutes and it's still ringing. They are leaving messages because I'm not answering it. It seems I have been approved to apply or have qualified for a very large loan, Not gonna happen! Headed to the kitchen to start food prep. BBL

I saw one guy answer and said ok I need that loan for a string of hookers he wanted to get. Set him up a business

Nice!! @CapricornFarm I need a jungle leaf mug, you know, one that looks like I'm just using a leaf to drink from. I tried to make one back when I had ceramics in college, it turned out beautiful! But because of the way I had the leaf overlap itself it actually would only hold about a shots worth of liquid... for a full sized mug! My kids have since broken it, but I still love the idea.

Amen! I'm up to my eyeballs in dog hair here, everything is coated in dust/ pollen/ ashes, and nobody seems to notice but me, and I can't do it! I need someone to sweep, mop, dust, and organize, and then I need another somebody to fix a few screens (birds have crashed into them over the years and now wasps and ladybird beetles can just waltz right in!) Someone needs to clean the gutters and at 70 I don't think DH should be doing it ...sigh, and more! I need HELP!

here in Dickinson some of the schools and college sports teams do "rent a player" and they will come and do what you need, IT used to be a "free will" offering not sure anymore.
