I'm sorry your temp is so low. I wore shorts and a tee shirt to do chores today. current temp is 80 but we are supposed to get thunderstorms this afternoon that will drop out temps into the 60's. I know spring is here because the forsythia is blooming.

30 mins. on hold THIS TIME w/IRS. they finally pick up, ask how they can help me then hang up on me!! The other # they gave me to call and was on hold with for a long time told me they had nothing to do with any of my issues.

Also, I dont know what kind of insurance/Medicare you have, but many of them will pay for in house help of some sort if you are medically unable to move much.

Medicare. I don't think they provide this, Medicaid does. Medicare seems to think I can pay a helper out of pocket. Just had to put a new radiator in Melissa's car and she needs all 4 wisdom teeth extracted - no dental insurance of course.

30 mins is painful, but for anyone who has dealt with medicaide/Medicare thats small coins! I had one day of 3 hrs on hold, to be told to call another, with another 2 hrs on hold, then told to call another with 1.5 hrs on hold before the call was dropped because the office closed. my "on hold headach" lasted a week. Then I tried again. Got through after 2 hours, was told to call the original number again.... i made them 3 way call it so they could argue with eachother over who's responsibility it was and not make me keep calling.

You might call your Medicare rep, they sometimes can find ways to use things they don't advertise offering if you ask nicely.
