Granny's gone and done it again

I've heard that was a very bloody surgery. I ended up w/ four 1-2 inch scars but I had horrible pain w/ that surgery. Ended up on morphine at home.
I'm very late to this party I guess. I had my gall bladder out in 1999 and had 3 or 4 teeny tiny incisions. The pain mdds made me pukey and itchy too so I mostly took Tylenol after 2 days. Some of the stitches that were supposed to dissolve didn't, though, and I had shards coming out even a couple of years later.

I think I got inside stitches and glued the skin together outside. They told me the source of my pain was where they blew my belly up w/ air and didn't get it back out. It was supposed to absorb by the body but you didn't pass gas to get rid of it. The tissues took it.

Well, that was not a PT, just a nurse asking questions to get me in ghe system. They don't want to see me until I'm released by the ortho to be weight-bearing, though. Oh well. I can do chair exercises on my own. They're also working on getting me a new wheelchair. Better hurry, lol!
