Yes, it does feel odd to call you Granny when I, too, am ten years your senior!

I guess granny depends on children/grandchildren not age. My MIL became a grandma at 60, my mom at 40. It a depends i suppose.

I kind of wondered too. She was being the helpful person she is. Probably already had said yes to subbing. There wouldn't have been a teacher.

My mom was a gma at 36, and then my sister did the same. I think I was 44 or 45 before I was so blessed.

had another 1/2 to inch of snow on the ground this morning but was all gone by noon. Tis moisture so I shall not complain.

They were asking for snow here. Didn't get it yet but it did cool off. Not cold enough to keep the dogs from begging to go on a walk.

If you got the chicken pox shot as a child thats how you got shingles. Actually normal chicken pox rarely turns into shingles, its almost always from the form they put in the shots.

I appear to have been proved wrong on this, i was pretty certain, but real life seems to indicate its wrong since most of you al getting shingles had it before they invested the shot. Sorry for the misinformation.
