Also, my first broody just hatched 11 out of 12 eggs last night!

Thanks! We're okay. The worst part of the storm and possible tornado tracked north and east of us. It went right through our county seat, Van Buren. Won't know about any damage till morning probably. Melissa had gone to Poplar Bluff (PB) to get more crickets for Tiki and is now waiting out the storm at PetSmart, as she has Ryder with her. We're having a lot of rain, high sustained winds and gusts up to 60 mph. She doesn't want to drive in that in her little car so she's going to wait it out.

Glad to hear that you are alright down there, Blue. We were watching Ryan Hall on YouTube earlier along with his storm chasers and saw the severe thunderstorms spawning tornadoes down there and hoped that all was well in the southern part of the state. All we had was one clap of thunder and off and on light rain most of the day. It's snowing now...trust me, I'd rather deal with strong storms than a couple inches of snow. At least you don't have to melt off thunderstorms....

Thanks, Chick! I was just glad my SIL, BIL, their 2 GS's and 2 undisciplined dogs didn't decide to come over and hunker down with us in the basement this time!

So tonight I'm starting 3 or 4 eggs just to check for fertilization. Want to know if my 8-mo old cockerels are "up to the job" they keep crowing about. If they are, I have an order for 25 eggs.

Still not used to the time change. Before, I would take my night pills at 8 p.m. I just realized it is 9 p.m. and I had not taken them! Oh! And time to set the eggs! BRB
