Did any of y'all think about removing their spurs when they get too long? Cap used to do that

Nope. If I can't trust a rooster with spurs, I get rid of the rooster, not the spurs. Worst injury a rooster ever did me, he did with his beak. Came at me like a pile driver, hit me in the knee and took me down.

Our youngest is 6 so only God truly knows if we will have another one before that time in my life is over. Hubby and I made the decision together that it is in God's hands. I won't have my tubes tied or take birth control. A lot of reasons we don't pursue more children, but we know the very real chance of having a baby when you don't intervene. They are all blessings from LORD JESUS so if He keeps that chapter in our life open Praise God if He shuts that chapter praise God!! Our cup truly runneth over how could we be sad or upset?
