Granny's gone and done it again

I don't like that they do it so early.
Ahh..yes. Happened to my Cooper. I actually bought him from a vet's office, the vet's daughter. I was picking him up at 8 weeks of age. She had said she would have him neutered. We'll she didn't tell me it would be done at..7 weeks!! The mom..vet..came out when I went to pick him up and told me. We'll, she was only able to get one testy, and that she had tried hard to get the other. Couldn't, to bring him back in and she would do it for free. I took him to my vet. He was livid! He said it's unethical for us to neuter a dog that early! He couldn't say enough about how wrong it was of her..which vet is this, I'm going to call her! Well, I didnt go back to her, I had my vet finish the job. Thank goodness he seems ok. He's 8 now, not seeing anything real serious going on, which could happen.

Tell him to kiss MY ask, no, tell him to Kiss all elderly women's ask. Who raised his children? Who worked by his his side? Who has gone thru so many health problems and still struggles to make it to the other side? We are elderly tired women and we deserve to be treated with love and respect not guilt for the things we cant do.
I am so blessed. I notice the house is dirty. Living rural with 3 dogs and 3 cats in one half of the house and 4 dogs in the other half, it's hard to keep any home immaculate. You can dust mop, turn around and there are hair balls chasing you. DH knows how bad I hurt and when I apologize for the house not being as clean as I like for it to be (there's family clean and company clean) he just give me a side hug and tells me not to worry about it that he doesn't notice it. He asks me if I need help and then picks up the broom and goes to work on the floor for me. Such a marvelous fantastic husband I have. @CapricornFarm, show your husband this response.

As for spaying/neutering. I asked our vet last trip when they liked to spay, 5 or 6 months and she said they like to wait as long as possible, so 6 months. Pi gets spayed in May. Most vets around here want you to wait to get them neutered or spayed till they get most of their growth over with. Can't imagine anybody doing it at 7-8 weeks. I mean, YIKES!

Morning all. Woke up aching all over. I see the doc the middle of April. Plan to ask for a prednisolone cocktail with a Torodal chaser. I'm plain tired of hurting and I'm sure I have bursitis back in both of my shoulders and tendinitis in my left hip. If they want me to stay active they have to get this inflammation under control. Period.

@twisted-acres-farm I have to salute you. Handling all those pups....you are a saint. Pi is keeping us both running ragged. She is almost 5 months old now. Coming along on house breaking. Teething, chewing on everything, running like a maniac, pestering the old dogs. Stealing anything she can reach. Generally being a joy but after dealing with 5 cattle dog pups. One is a snap...9 would be.... :th

Off to the Amish store to buy bread flour. I've tried everything you can buy at stores and nothing works as good as their flour for making big fluffy loaves of bread. Plus I can get 10 pounds for about 5.25 a bag so off I go. Be well everyone. BBL

I often eat them out of the can when I'm making dinner and I'm to hungry to wait till dinner is ready
