Our insurance was less before we got Medicare!

Not mine. I paid 800 dollars a month for insurance

I am considering getting surgery to get rid of all of this fat. 50 pounds of it i drag around every day. No wonder i am always tired! But I think i will try to lose at least 20 pounds before I do that. The quote i got for what I want done was around $30,000! I may go get work done in another country.
I bought a gallon of paint for the basement floor. It will at least get me started. Need to get the studio ready to use.

My parents got gypped on their insurance this year...they got talked into switching to united health care. All of my dad's prescriptions have gone up. And now they have lost their dental insurance as well..

I think it is all a bunch of scams to make big pharma richer..

What a day. I went with my dad to the funeral home to pick out his package for when he passes on. It was quite an experience. I kept thinking of granny and Tom, and what they charged her. He is thinking he wants to be cremated but still wants a viewing. They charge 1500 to rent a coffin for the viewing. They charge 800 dollars to pick up the body and drive it from his home to the funeral home. If it is within a 30 mile radius. It was really eye opening. I should have. Taken a picture of the quotes they gave him. I can’t remember much more.

Good afternoon friends! Pa and I just got home from his hospital stay. His surgery went well, doctor said it was good that he got in when he did or it could have been a lot worse. He will be on restricted movement of his head for at least 2 weeks, no weight over 5 pounds, no driving for 2 weeks but he should be fine in a few months. In 3 months doctor wants to work on his lower back. I will try to catch up with all of you tomorrow. I'm to tired to even think straight at this moment.

That is strange. I switched to one called scan. It is mainly based out of Calif or west coast. My prescription costs so far have been 0 out of pocket

Terrible. Did he pick one? Cant afford to die anymore. What I did learn is different places charge different prices. Shop around.

I don't want any of that. Simple cremation asap, toss my ashes out into the forest in front of the house. No monuments, no gravestone, no marker of any kind. They can have a simple service at the church and try to think of a few nice things to say about me if they want. That's it. Don't spend money on me when I'm dead, good grief!
