Surgery was Monday. We spent Sunday night in a hotel close to the hospital because we had to be there at 5 a.m. Surgery started at 7 and he was in recovery before 9. He stayed Monday night in the hospital and we were headed home about 1:30 Tuesday. He is much better today, but still resting a lot. He wants to try to walk outside some today.

So glad to hear that he is feeling better. You might find you have a hard time reining him in once he starts REALLY feeling good.

So many of my spring bulbs have died now.. 90s followed by 15 every other week is just brutal!

We have a freeze warning for tonight. Down to 28. It was 86 yesterday, 51 today and windy so not pleasant out even though it's sunny. My forsythia bushes are blooming along with three of our peach trees. Oh well. There's always next year. At least my tulips aren't opened yet so maybe they will survive. I'm wondering if I should try and cover my lilies though......
