Granny's gone and done it again

When Ford repaired our car, they drove us to the store and had a Uber pick us up. We waited outside the store in a shopping center while the Uber waited in a parking lot. They texted us the make and model of the vehicle and I flagged him but by then he said he now has someone else to pick up so he left and we had to wait for another driver
I don't guess I want to use that. Big fear of mine is getting stranded
The site of a colostomy or an ileostomy depends on the part of the intestine that is affected. The different types of colostomies are named based on where they are in the colon.
  • A sigmoid colostomy is in the sigmoid colon, which is the part of the colon that connects to the rectum. A sigmoid colostomy is the most common type of colostomy.
  • A descending colostomy is in the descending colon, which is the part of the colon that goes down the left side of the abdomen.
  • A transverse colostomy is in the transverse colon, which is the part of the colon that goes across the upper abdomen.
  • An ascending colostomy is in the ascending colon, which is the first part of the colon. It starts at the
    cecum
and goes up the right side of the abdomen. An ascending colostomy is not commonly done because doctors prefer to do an ileostomy.
  • An ileostomy is in the ileum, which is the last part of the small intestine.

I hope there's not gonna be a test on this!

long story but I think Tom just paid Robert a visit! Years ago Robert put rubber band on sprayer holding it open. Tom got it full face! Today Robert needed to rinse garbage can out and the shower was switched to hand held and aimed right at his face. Soo hard to not be laughing

I paid for him online but forgot about tip. He shouldn't have asked DH to pay for the gas. Those were the only times I used Uber. The second time I tried to get him to being DH home from the hospital, he accepted the job and I paid. A little while late he cancelled and it went till the next day to get my money back so I didn't have money to get another cab. So he had to wait till I could come for him
Oh that’s terrible

Morning all.

We had a bit of drama here last night. Diesel (red heeler) got into a squabble with his sister (Rocki). Not unusual.. For some reason he doesn't like her and she is just the sweetest dog. They never hurt one another. Just a lot of drama and noise but brother Varn doesn't like it so he jumped into the fray to force Diesel off of her. Then here comes Boss Ben, alpha of the 4 who decides enough is enough and jumps on Varn. I have Ben trained so all I have to do is yell Ben Leave It! and he will stop on the dime but when he goes in to break up a squabble, he means business. I checked Varn and both my hands were bloody. Great. Traced it to his left ear and found a good inch long laceration through the ear at the margin. I grabbed a roll of paper towels, DH got a hold of Varn and I got a hold of the ear and got the bleeding stopped. Gave him a pain pill and dose of antibiotics and they all settled down for the night like nothing had happened in typical dog manner. Up early this morning and DH loaded him in the car and headed for the vet. Last word was that they were checking him over but nothing since. Know he needs stitched up, the cartilage was cut as well as the skin.

I keep telling Ben he has two choices. Stop being boss dog and beating up his brothers or get a job to pay for these vet bills. Needless to say he doesn't listen.

@Rambling Iris so glad to hear that Nomadicus is doing better. We know PT isn't going to be a basket of roses so tell him I said to hang in there, that it will get better.

And how are YOU doing?

Yeah they will pick up the one that pays the most.

Sorry to hear about the dog fight damage. Dogs are pretty tough in general!

DH and Varn got home around 11:30, Varn all stitched up and higher than a kite. Like, who am I where am I what am I? It's kind of funny really. They give him gas anesthesia and follow up with a morphine synthetic pain killer and the pain killer really whacks him out. Last two times he's had it it's like he doesn't recognize us. Last time he had it he didn't recognize DH and bit him so we know to give him a lot of space until the pain meds wear off. DH went into the family room to check him and came back a few minutes later saying, 'he's giving me 'that' look so I left'. Good thinking Dear. He looks so sad though. Actually had two lacerations they stitched and they do such a great job. Today we are keeping him away from his sibs. Next week Ben goes in for shots so we'll be addressing his ear fetish and seeing what we can do to curtail it.
